JEWEL "A KISS FOR COUNTRY"

Jewel is the new Mary Kay Cosmetics spokesmodel.  A Kiss for Country campaign is a charity to help end domestic violence. 

Jewel on being involved- It's a topic that's close to my heart. I was homeless for a year and saw first hand how sometimes the streets can be safer than what's at home.

I had the pleasure of sitting down with Jewel and our mutual friend, famed stylist Jessica Pastor, at one of her favorite LA restaurants Il Sole right before I went on tour with Katy.  Jewel was everything Jessica said she was; beautiful, kind, and just had a real sense of togetherness.

Country music singer Chris Cagle and girlfriend Jennifer Tant were arrested for domestic assault on Wednesday, May 28 2008. The two of them where arrested after getting drunk and then getting physical... and not in the sexy way but in the "honey I think we should call the cops on our noisey ass neighbors " kind of way.

Grrrrrrl! I say hit me once shame on me. Hit me twice I'm grabben a knife. So my advice to you 'lil girl is get out before he kills you. I suggest after you get out of jail you go straight to your local book store and buy/ or steal (I dont know your business) a book called "Better Single Than Sorry" By Jen Schefft. You're welcome!

I don't think country is a bad way to go. This song choice isn't my favorite, but it sometimes takes a while for country songs to grow on me. Now will she be able to win over the actually country community? Let me know what you think ?
