KATY PERRY FINDS FRIENDS AT THE CHRISTIAN DIOR SHOW
Well this is a trio I didn't expect to see together in one place. The Christian Dior Spring/Summer 2009 fashion show in Paris had a full house. Lilly Allen, Dita Von Teese and Katy Perry, and if you look closely you can see a bit of Emma Watson next to KP. Oh and above both of them is Travis McCoy from Gym Class Heroes. I'd notice that tattoo sleeve anywhere.
My good friend Rob Williams says- "Lilly Allen is one season away from not being in this photo. Look at how much more polished Katy and Dita are."
Last night Blender Magazine toasted to Katy Perry. The VMA nominee showed up to the party looking flawless in her 80's vintage leather zip front dress and she shared a toast with boyfriend Travis McCoy and other BFF Shannon Woodward who sported a rather flossy (G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S. YES, the glamorous, glamorous. The flossy, flossy.) necklace by Lia Sophia. Later Katy found herself in a bloggers sandwich between Perez and I. Squuuuuuuuish!
The Cookie Monster Travis McCoy and his wonderfully funny band mates have taken the Cover of AP Magazine in what is the perfect depiction of Warped Tour, Scary Jacked Up Carnival. Look at bassist Eric Roberts, right behind Travie, he is not fazed one bit by the scary roller coaster ride or the killer clowns. I believe the killer clowns are De Jesus and Danny.
...But it's hella funny. I found this video on Travies blog and I'm almost positive it was a direct shot out to me. I about fell out my chair with what the chubby girl does in the video.
Travie is blogging and has been for a while. I love how he shares exactly whats going on. He doesn't really hold back. It's one of the better celebrity blogs I've come across. He's really good at making you feel like you have a connection with him and who he is. Now I'm not just saying this because I happened to be the subject of his Wednesday blog. Travie writes, Markusisthedrug, and my BANJEE ASS BIG SISTER! SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!He ain't lying!
No I really do enjoy Travis's photography. Almost as much as I enjoy his latest single "Cookie Jar ft. The Dream"
You know how they say better late than never. Well that's what I'm saying today. The woe's of touring with Katy Perry. There really are none, but if I had to list a few is keeping y'all updated by finding good Internet connection. Everything else is F-in amazing. We are having so much fun. I even had fun spending my 4th in Austin, Texas yesterday. We started off with some hot ass HOT wings at Hooters. Then it lead to a BIG ass nap at the Embassy Suites, you know, the place where everyone can feel like a BALLER because every room's a suite. Later it lead to an amazing dinner at some Mexican restaurant that our tour manager Julia Ervin suggested. She lived in Texas before. Y'alls, Queso is on a whole other level. After the feast I opted for a movie and dessert in my room. Katy and Travis went to see Andrew W.K. at Emo's. I'm kind of bummed I missed it because I heard the show was awesome! So that was how I spent my 4th y'all BIATCHES!
TRAVIS MCCOY DOES AN AMY WINEHOUSE AND PUNCHES A CONCERT INSTIGATOR
Well you know how they say roll with the punches. That is certainly the case for one Warped Tour attendee. Travis McCoy lead front man for the band Gym Class Heroes was arrested this evening July 1st in Maryland Heights, Missouri at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater around 8:30pm after his concert.
Travis, 26, punched the heckler after he yelled racial obscenities calling Travis a "fucking ignorant nigger." Travis stopped the show and asked the guy, "did you just call me an ignorant nigger?" The guy said, "Yes I did you fucking ignorant nigger." Travis then asked the guy to come to the front of the stage the guy did and apparently raised a fist, and grabbed Travis's leg that he had injured previous to this concert and was using a cane to get around in so in self defense, Travie then started to punch the guy in the head.
The guy was removed and Travis continued the show. Stopping a few times to apologize for his behavior to his fans.
After the show Missouri police were waiting for Mr. McCoy to take him away. Later learning the instigator in question had a record of aggravated assault and a warrant out for his arrest.
