AN AMERICAN GIRL IN PARIS...

Katy Perry looks amazing as she arrives at the Patrick Demarchelier's exhibition party last night in Paris. Patrick is an amazing photographer who has shot for every major magazine and has photographed people from Leonardo Dicaprio to the late Gianni Versace.  Brilliant!

KATY PERRY FINDS FRIENDS AT THE CHRISTIAN DIOR SHOW

Well this is a trio I didn't expect to see together in one place. The Christian Dior Spring/Summer 2009 fashion show in Paris had a full house. Lilly Allen, Dita Von Teese and Katy Perry, and if you look closely you can see a bit of Emma Watson next to KP. Oh and above both of them is Travis McCoy from Gym Class Heroes. I'd notice that tattoo sleeve anywhere.

My good friend Rob Williams says- "Lilly Allen is one season away from not being in this photo. Look at how much more polished Katy and Dita are."

Amazing! So very true Rob.

PARIS FASHION WEEK... GARETH PUGH

With a mix of the Queen Elizabeth, the Golden Ages, and The Cell with Jennifer Lopez, Gareth Pugh has created an elaborate and theatrical picture that I've found myself very involved with. I can see the beauty and mystical world Gareth has created but I wonder what the downmarket store product may look like. Bravo Gareth.

This young Scandinavian line has caught my attention with its animal prints and summer breeze dresses. I could see Katy Perry sporting a few of these dresses and tiger-print leggings.

KATE MOSS FOR LONGCHAMP...

The always beautiful always fabulous Kate Moss is giving us her best tranny fierce poses for her Fall/Winter Ad Campaign with Longchamp. Reminds me of my time in Paris. It looked a lot liked this.

Alongside the Moss is French actor Gaspard Ulliel, who starred in Hannibal Rising and Paris Je T'aime.

THINGS ARE GONNA CHANGE IN '08 FOR SURE...

Hwhaat! This is some crazy stuff...and one of the reasons why I love architecture and design. Paris-based Serero Architects have won the open competition to redesign any of the Eiffel Tower's public areas. Serero's project plans on extending the top floor plate of the tower by raising a carbon Kevlar structure on it. The structure won't permanently modify the famous structure in expanding the usable floor area from around 900 SF to around 1,900 SF. I am intrigued by this but we'll see if I can walk on this

Here is Blake earlier in the month at the Chanel Fine Jewelry-Night of Diamonds at the Plaza in NYC January 16th. This dress is a little over the top and really can't stand the random positioning of this broach. Bitchy Markus!
