So I'm actually a big fan of Daniel Radcliffe, the English actor from all those witchcraft movies, but Harry is not on Conan to talk about the big screen, rather, the big stage Broadway. Daniel is promoting his second starring appearance in Equus. First appearing in London, Danny has now moved to New York to get naked. Just kidding. But no really he does go nude. I'm checking on tickets to New York right now. He is of legal age now after all.
So Suri Cruise is moving to New York while momma Cruise does the Broadway Production of All My Sons. Suri is already set to move into her swanky new apartment at the Trump Towers. I hear she's dropping an easy $200,000 a month on this two- story duplex. When I called Suri to ask if I can crash, she said only on the weekends because Father gets upset when she has overnight guest on the weekdays. So I guess Markusisthedrug will be going for the Trump Towers Suri-style for the fall.
I don't know how I missed this Maxim cover of Elisha Cuthbert for the May 2008 issue . Ok, I admit I'm not a huge Maxim fan, but after Pierre and I went to the Maxim Hot 100 party in Los Angeles at Paramount Studios, I noticed this cover on a table. I was blown away. I couldn't stop looking at it. I was giving you full on perv right in the middle of a fake New York street. She looks amazing. Super sexy without the super trashy. Maxim you have made Markus Is The Drug a Fan. You're Welcome.
The 7.9 magnitude quake toppled the small cites in the steep hills north of Sichuan's capitol Chengdu. This has been the worst earthquake in three decades, killing more than 10,000 people and trapping many more in layers of concrete. The earthquake took place mid afternoon on Monday, May 12, 2008 . For more on the earthquake click here.
This is so scary. I remember watching some earthquake thing on the history channel and they said LA is past due for some big earthquake. Eeeek! It freaks me out just writing that. This is why I need to remember not to take anything for granted. My friends, family, and everyday I get to just live life no matter how hard it gets. I'm so thankful to live another day. Wow. I didn't mean to get all heavy. Eew I love all of you! OMG whatamisaying?
It's hard to watch Ellen Page in a dress. Here, Janeane Garofalo's 'lil sister showed up to the screening of "Smart People" at the Landmark Sunshine Theater in New York on March 31, 2008.
No doubt Blake Lively is making plans to go to Beatrice while on location for Gossip Girl in New York on March 26, 2008. Beatrice is like the New York Hyde..ish...cause "she wants to be the most popular girl" just like her "Teen Witch" sister...cause she's hot and your not and if you wanna get with her she'll give it one shot...so top that!
Child - "Mom, is that really Reginald's heart?" Mother - "Yes sweetie it is, but he would have been so happy about getting to entertain us."
That's cool that they killed the servant and all to display his gushing heart to their guests, but I once attended a party where the hosts brought in starving prisoners to have them fight in a cage until one would kill the other and finally take care of his hunger. Hmm...you're welcome? (I don't think many can pull off "You're welcome" as well as our dear Markus).
Really though, it's a piece by Billy Chasen of a beating heart [belonging to one of the men who attacked us] shown at the American Heart Association's 2008 Heart of New York Gala at the Waldorf Astoria. And I don't think it's real. Is it?
Well we all knew this was cumming. Hugh Hefner wants Lindsay Lo to recreate Marilyn's famous swim from Something's Got to Give says a source to New York Magazine.
“….Lindsay is tempted to continue her nude homage to MM….Playboy’s Hugh Hefner has offered the young star the chance to re-create Marilyn’s famed nude swim from the unfinished film ‘Something’s Got To Give.’”
Lindsay Lohan giving us her best Marilyn Monroe. Lindsay is on the cover of New York Magazine posing like Marilyn in what is know as " The Last Sitting" .
In 1962, photographer Bert Stern shot Marilyn Monroe in “The Last Sitting” photo shoot and 46 years later, he revisited his classic shots with Lindsay Lohan.
Lindsay in NYMag. commenting on Marilyn Monroe and Heath Ledgers tragic deaths:"They are both prime examples of what this industry can do to someone… I don’t know. I’m not them. But I sure as hell wouldn’t let it happen to me.”
Lins on Marilyn's shoot: “Here is a woman who is giving herself to the public. She’s saying, ‘Look, you’ve taken a lot from me, so why don’t I give it to you myself.’ She’s taking control back.”
Lindsay on posing nude:“I was comfortable with it… I didn’t have to put much thought into it. I mean, Bert Stern? Doing a Marilyn shoot? When is that ever going to come up? It’s really an honor.”
Katy Perry showed off her best in Betsey at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Rumor has it that these two are planning collaboration sometime soon. Of course Betsey's collection was filled with color and very 80's inspired. Purrrrfect for Katy Perry. I couldn’t help but notice Katy was missing something this go around at fashion week. Oh yes, ME! She just doesn’t seem has happy with out her daily dose of Markus Marquez. Oh well. Next time. Remember Kittle, you can NEVER LEAVE ME!
I think I prefer Blake Lively's style over her character Serna, on Gossip Girl. Blake lively shows off her granny chic style at the Chanel Haute Couture show in Paris.
Here is Blake earlier in the month at the Chanel Fine Jewelry-Night of Diamonds at the Plaza in NYC January 16th. This dress is a little over the top and really can't stand the random positioning of this broach. Bitchy Markus!
by Pierre Baltadano Bloomberg News is reporting that New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg has announced plans to bring waterfalls to the East River off of Lower Manhattan, beginning around mid-Julyand ending around mid-October. The waterfalls will be created by famed artist Olafur Eliasson, who's well known for his exhibit, The Weather Project, which was a large-scale installation of a sun-like object that was installed in 2003 at the Tate Modern in London, and the newly constructed Serpentine Gallery Pavillion (2007).
The New York City Waterfalls will consist of four illuminated waterfalls, ranging from 90-120 ft, that will be placed at different locations, one by the Brooklyn Bridge, another by Governor's Island, and the other two locations have not been announced. They will also be environmentally conscious of the native wildlife and pumped using the power of the water current.
