Jewel on being involved- It's a topic that's close to my heart. I was homeless for a year and saw first hand how sometimes the streets can be safer than what's at home.
Wow, this is realness. I had the pleasure of sitting down with Jewel and our mutual friend, famed stylist Jessica Pastor, at one of her favorite LA restaurants Il Sole right before I went on tour with Katy. Jewel was everything Jessica said she was; beautiful, kind, and just had a real sense of togetherness.
Last night Eva Longoria hosted a charity at her new restaurant Beso in Hollywood. The charity dinner was EBMRF in honor of Ken Paves Big Give a play off Oprah's Charity TV special. Katy and I joined our friend Jessica Pastor to this celebrity infested event. After an hour of air kisses and hugs Katy and I bounced to Bar Marmont on Sunset for some delicious food without the camera's.
Yes its still true y'all, the famous Vanity Fair Oscar party was cancelled, but it has not stopped VF from celebrating their new March 2008 issue featuring "10 Fresh Faces of 2008". The Celebration was thrown at the very new hot spot Bond St. in the Thompson Hotel. The gathering was small and intimate. Flower child Katy Perry showed up with stylist Jessica Pastor who put Katy in a very sexy, very tight Christian Dior By Galliano Dress that accentuated all the right details. I also took noticed of the very beautiful always done up Dita Von Teese and classy America Ferrera. After all the hugs and handshakes we followed hotel owner Jason Pomeranc up to the 2nd floor for some dinner and drinks. I recommend getting the steak skewers, and for dessert the fondue and ice cream are out of control. You're welcome!

I recently went to a holiday dinner party with my good friend Jessica Pastor. The event, hosted by Alexandra Von Furstenberg, Jacqui Getty, Ryan Haddon & Shiva Rose, took place at the recently opened Bond St of New York in its Beverly Hills location inside the Thompson Beverly Hills Hotel. I believe it's true opening is in mid-January. Sitting at my table was Teen Vogue’s Carlos Lopez, Decades owner Camron Silver , Stylist Jessica Pastor, Actress Rose McGowan , Stylist George Kotsiopoulos, Designer Magda Berliner, and, of course, me, Markus Molinari. I have to say it was a pretty chic and fashionable table. You're welcome.. Rose McGowan wins for Best Dressed. She was one of the only not wearing black. She looks great in Vintage!
