After reading Kevin's article in People Magazine I wanted to take the time to do a video blog.  I was amazed at how the focus was on Britney and NOT on Kevin, all in an effort to sell magazines.  We aren't being told Kevin's part in all of the mess and are being fed a story of a villain (Britney) and a hero (Kevin), when really there is more than just that.  So this goes out to our girl Britney.

Thursday, the California Supreme Court, in a 4-3 ruling, shot down the state's ban on same-sex marriage. This ruling may allow gays to be hitched as early as mid-June. Holla! Go team Gay! I myself don't agree with gay marriage and equal rights. Gross! Can you imagine complete gay strangers that want nothing to do but be happy and share their lives with the ones they love ... OMG. That means you can actually provide health insurance to the person you care most about that happens to be the same sex as you. This is insane. Can you imagine the sight of a perfectly detailed wedding. I mean I think what you should be most afraid of is all the best wedding locations getting booked up. I mean can you imagine all the more opportunity's Britney Spears is going to get to have another shotgun wedding now that she's allowed to marry girls as well.

So check this out...over on Forbes.com there's a story from April 30, 2008 about the fifth richest man in the world, India-born Mukesh Ambani, building a $2 BILLION home. HWHAT! This home will be a 27-story skyscraper in downtown Mumbai and it will be called Antilla. It all started in 2005 when Ambani's wife Nita was visiting the spa at the Mandarin Oriental in New York and she was stricken by the Asian-inspired interiors. She tracked down the designers,Perkings +Will and Hirsch Bedner Associates, and went to the bank, her husband of course, to have it done. Unlike a hotel or other high rise, this one will differ from floor to floor and that is why it will end up costing so much. There are more details in the story but let's just say that when I was building my billion dollar home, I made sure that I had a whole floor for baby tigers, another for a 7-11, and I was convinced by K-Fed to build a nightclub for pit-bulls on a seperate floor. Oh wait, that was Britney Spears.

MAKES SENSE... IN THEORY...

It's rumored that Britain's West End Theatre wants Britney Spears to play the lead role of Blanche DuBois in Tennessee William's stage play A Streetcar Named Desire.

“Britney’s been on the list for this for some time but was considered too risky until recently,” an insider spills to the British tabs. “Her appearance in the American TV show How I Met Your Mother changed all that. She had poise, timing and a real flair.”

“We’d wanted her for Blanche because even though she’s technically too young to play her, who else could embody this fallen Southern Belle so well? Britney’s done it all in her career – from being desired beyond all others to facing ridicule that she can’t quite understand – pure Blanche.”

“She’s living out the story, so to harness that on stage would be amazing for an audience to see – and cathartic for Britney, too.”

Sure Britney may have done a better than average job on How I Met Your Mother, but that's just using a Britney scale. If you used a regular’s person scale then it would be an unforgettable performance. If you had casted a regular actress no one would say that so and so did a stellar job and she should be a Tony award-winning actress. You're not really reviewing her acting, you're applauding the fact that she made it to set and got through the scenes. It doesn’t mean she's ready for the theater and the daily performances along with an added matinee performance on the weekend. HAHAHA, I don’t think so!

CELEBITCHY REPORTS- When I first read a blurb about this yesterday on OK! Magazine I was so confused by the details I didn’t report it. Britney’s boyfriend Adnan, who she maybe broke up with after reading sexy texts on his phone from another woman, (although he was seen at her house a couple of days ago) supposedly had an affair. He was said to be cheating on Britney with the girlfriend of a guy who is a contestant on the Bravo Reality show “Make Me a Supermodel.” The news came out after he was photographed with the 20 year-old woman, who was suspiciously wearing one of the black “Ed Hardy” t-shirts that Adnan favors.

BRITNEY'S GETTING HELP ...

New reports on Britney's ever growing mental instability. From what what I can gather, Britney went willingly to UCLA medical center after suffering from yet another mental breakdown. Britney is under a much needed 72 hour hold. I really think this a good thing. I also hear that preggers-sister Jamie Lynn Spears has convinced Britney to go back home with her and her mom to Lousiana. Let's hope this is truly the case and hope the paparazzi/media give her the time and space she needs to recover.

Monday, Britney visits the office Kevin Federline's lawyer. This is the most productive we've seen Brit Brit be in an while. I hope this is a permanent change.

BRITNEY SPEARS RESCUED BY PAPARAZZI...

WENN reports-
Britney Spears had to be rescued by a photographer after her car tire blew up. The troubled star halted traffic on a busy road in Los Angeles on Monday (07Jan08) when she was forced to stop her white Mercedes sports car and call for a tow truck.
Spears, who was travelling with her assistant, was stopped by police who insisted she abandon the vehicle in the hard shoulder.
Rather than being left stranded, the singer was given a lift away from the scene by a member of the paparazzi who had been following her. The 26-year-old was driven back to her Beverly Hills, California, home by the snapper, who is an employee of celebrity picture agency X17. The star left the house again 20 minutes later in her assistant's car heading towards the Four Seasons Hotel.

Kevin is blocking paparazzi from taking pictures of Sean and Jayden after coming home from the hospital last night.

Last night Britney Spears was rushed to Cedars Sinai in West Hollywood for 'An Evaluation" . This was after Britney reportedly would not give back her son's Sean Preston and Jayden James to Kevin Federline who has full custody of the boys.

Authorities reported that Brit Brit appeared to be "under the influence" of some kind of drug. Life & Stlye is reporting that her blood test taken at Cedars came back negative. Thats right y'all Britney is not on drugs! She's just a little crazy that's all.

Brits father including K-Fed and boys Sean and Jayden were all spotted at the hospital with Britney.

I really hope Britney finds the help she needs and gets out of the paparazzi circus.

With her debut EP "Ur So Gay" out Nov. 20, Katy Perry is poised for the limelight. Between her cheeky lyrics and affinity for all things camp and vamp, she's ready for some attention.

Pretty preacher man's daughter makes good on her looks and big voice.

The Jessica Simpson story is a well-documented one, but this isn't about her, or her sister for that matter. Katy Perry, 22, is the new pastors' (plural, as in mom and dad) girl in town, and, ample bosom aside, she has little in common with the Simpsons' aw-shucks blonde and collagen act. Sure, the Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter got her musical start singing in church in Santa Barbara, Calif., but one would never know it based on her debut EP, "Ur So Gay" (Capitol), set for a Nov. 20 release. Perry's full album, three years in the making, is due out in the spring.

In addition to an original ballad, "Lost," as well as a cover of The Outfield's 1985 hit "Your Love," the EP includes seven versions — clean, explicit, remix, a cappella, instrumental, etc. — of the title track, proof of Capitol's faith in its hit potential. With Perry's strong, slightly raspy voice belting out lyrics like "I hope you hang yourself with your H&M scarf while jacking off listening to Mozart" and a cheeky chorus of "Ur so gay and you don't even like boys," the song has a pop-and-vinegar ethos not unlike that of Amy Winehouse and Lily Allen.

"It's mostly inspired by that whole Emo, Sensitive Sally-type scene," says Perry, during a phone interview, of the song. "You know, guys with guy-liner who use flatirons. I was in that scene. I know boys in that scene. My littler brother was in that scene. I always just thought it was hilarious."



While she faults those Emo dudes for their flagrant vanity, Perry doesn't hold herself to the same standard. When the conversation turns to fashion, she perks up. "That's the subject I know best," says the self-proclaimed girly-girl before ticking off a list of her favorite designers: Jeremy Scott, Jovovich-Hawk, Alexander McQueen and Betsey Johnson. Although, she offers the last label with a disclaimer. "It's probably not the coolest thing to say," explains Perry. "I've always liked it but people are like, 'You like Betsey Johnson — you've probably never heard of Viktor & Rolf.' I'm like, 'Shut up. I like Viktor & Rolf, too.'"

In September, Perry made the rounds at New York Fashion Week, taking in Erin Fetherston, BCBG Max Azria and Preen, among others. She was thrilled to see one of her favorite items, the onesie, of which she owns at least five, get more play on the runways.

As far as her stage persona is concerned, Perry has two major influences: "I'm very inspired by Freddie Mercury and how flamboyant and theatrical he was," she says. "And my sense of humor is a little off in a Lucille Ball way. She's cute and sweet, but she's always kind of f--king up." Such big-personality influences demand high-drama clothes. Thus, Perry likens her performance look to that of a Vegas showgirl. "Not revealing like that, but very glittery," she says. "I used to go to the costume houses in L.A. like Warner Brothers and pull from the cancan or the cheerleading section. I would pose as a stylist but I'd really be styling myself."


Indeed, image-wise, Perry's a girl who knows what she wants. In an effort to prep for this story, she put together a look book on Style.com that included everything from Miu Miu to L.A.M.B. and sent it to her publicist, the writer and the stylist involved with this story. "I'm superparticular," Perry says. She's equally picky when it comes to her promo materials. In the past, Perry persuaded her label to enlist hip fashion photographers Terry Richardson and Ellen von Unwerth. And, most recently, hipster party photographer Mark "the Cobrasnake" Hunter, who's known for capturing downtown girls in various states of revelry, shot Perry and friends in a fountain near L.A.'s 5 freeway. Not exactly the stuff of her good-girl beginnings.

So, what do her devout parents think of their daughter's decidedly secular lifestyle? "My parents love me and want the best for me," says Perry. "They don't care what I do just as long as I remember who I am, have some integrity and respect and don't end up like, well, it sounds like Shmitney Shmeers."
