ELDERLY EMMYS 08 WERE THE LEAST WATCHED EMMYS EVER

The boring old people Emmys scored a meager 12.2 million viewers, beating out the low ratings of the 1990 Emmys that previously held the crown for the least viewed at 12.3. Wow you would think having five host's would have been a sure fire plan.  

MY THREE FAVORITE EMMY DRESSES ...

I thought Desperate House Wives' Marcia Cross' stylist Jessica Pastor made an amazing choice choosing this dress by Elie Saab. Its tricky going with so much tulle, but I loved it. The length, embroidered top, and the taffeta belt all came together with such class.

I'm not the biggest fan of Lipstick Jungle's Brooke Shields, but she looked amazing in her fuchsia ruffled gown by Badgley Mischka. Loved the soft curls. This is my whole look!

And I Love, Love, Loved Lost star Evageline Lilly's Elie Saab couture. This muslin gown took me by surprise because usually your not using muslin unless your on stage in medieval times but it worked with the strips of sequin and tulle. Bravo!

WOW they used a ton of make-up, probably to take the attention from her bad hair and horrible outfit. OK, so J Biel is on the August 2008 cover Harper's BAZAAR. Gross!

HOT VICTORIA (TRANNY) MESS...

Please Marc Jacobs will you stop torching us with these horrendous ads of Victoria (over tanned) Beckham. I did love the legs out of the box ad. The rest are flat out scary.

...SATURDAY... SUNDAY ...

OK this is going to be a little shorter; you get the gist of the weekend right? Pump pump, pump!. Saturday group dinner at Casa Vega in Studio City. Thomas and I left the valley and went to Hollywood to rescue my girl Golden and friend Rainier we made a quick stop at Goa. This is not usually my cup of tea. Too much Hollywood. Believe it or not I can only handle so much of "the scene" but handle it I did. I always enjoy my small but deep talks with Golden. Oh I did run into Matt Dallas but quickly lost him in the crowd. Rumor has it Lindsey Lohan got a hold of him and would not let go. You're welcome Lindsey.



Grammy Awards Sunday Started off with Mia and I having breakfast at the Beachwood cafe. Then after we had an afternoon of internet nothingness/research, we got ready for our first party. We decided to hit up Warner Brothers first and we had amazing timing because just as we arrived JGro was just finishing up red carpet. As we did a few Champagne laps we ran into Katy Perry and Dr.Luke... We always do. Next party. Sony at the Beverly Hills Hotel. This was the party to be at: Clive Davis, Beyonce, John Mayer, etc. So after Mia hit up every buffet table we decided 1:15am would be a perfect time to go to Hyde. Hyde was packed but not super annoying. Janet showed up to dance with her man Jermaine Dupree. Very cute! She's taller then him. Last stop. Oh we picked up someone at Hyde, my friend Simon, and it was off to the Thompson Hotel in Beverly Hills. We arrived just in time to see Avril Lavigne stumbling out. When we got to the suite it took about 3 name drops before they let us in the small room. Soon after arriving, Paris arrived. I'm sure none to impressed with the size of the room she had us all leave to the next party. But I thought that would be pushing it to the edge so I called it a night.

KATY PERRY HEARTS BETSEY JOHNSON...

Katy Perry showed off her best in Betsey at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Rumor has it that these two are planning collaboration sometime soon. Of course Betsey's collection was filled with color and very 80's inspired. Purrrrfect for Katy Perry. I couldn’t help but notice Katy was missing something this go around at fashion week. Oh yes, ME! She just doesn’t seem has happy with out her daily dose of Markus Marquez. Oh well. Next time. Remember Kittle, you can NEVER LEAVE ME!

Novak Djokovic does for tennis what David Beckham does for soccer, keeps you watching. Sunday, January 27, 2008 Novak wins the Australian open. Novak is only 20 and plays like a veteran pro. I have to admit that I haven't really followed his career or
tennis for that matter 'til my friend friend Liz introduced me to it. I think I may be a fan now. Novak was instantly my favorite. He just seemed to have that certain je ne sais qoui... A star quality about him. I mean winning the Australian Open helps.



Novak Djokovic on being the last man standing-
